Born in a refugee camp in Ethiopia, Awar Odhiang is a Canadian model whose commanding presence across runway, campaign and editorial platforms has positioned her as one of the most versatile and globally recognised faces in contemporary fashion. A regular on Models.com’s Top 50 ranking and a 2024 Model of the Year nominee, Odhiang’s career continues to soar.
In 2025 alone, she has walked in dozens of major shows, including couture and ready-to-wear collections for Hermès, Schiaparelli, Jil Sander, Zara SRPLS and Max Mara, with a standout appearance in Prada’s Autumn/Winter 2025 campaign and runway. Her runway appearances span top houses such as Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Versace, Moschino, Dolce & Gabbana and Jacquemus, reflecting her international reach and magnetic runway presence.
Odhiang’s campaign portfolio is equally impressive. In addition to Prada Autumn/Winter 2025 and Loro Piana Autumn/Winter 2025, she has starred in global campaigns for Sportmax Spring/Summer 2024, Salvatore Ferragamo Pre-Fall 2024, Louis Vuitton Pre-Fall 2024, and past seasonal work for Bottega Veneta and Saint Laurent throughout 2022 and 2023.
