ANEST COLLECTIVE | Brand Editor (China)

About ANEST

ANEST COLLECTIVE is a contemporary luxury ready-to-wear brand founded in Shanghai and produced in Europe.
We work closely with family-run ateliers in Italy, focusing on materials, construction, and a restrained sense of refinement to create enduring pieces that stand the test of time. Our philosophy is rooted in a long-term perspective, emphasizing architectural clarity in structure and the principle of “fewer but better”—shaping lasting brand value through craftsmanship and cultural storytelling.

We are looking for a “Content Editor-in-Chief” who will establish ANEST’s content system and communication standards in the China market: translating the brand’s core values into clear, shareable, and enduring narratives, and enhancing long-term brand understanding, trust, and influence through continuous content and project output.

Scope of Work

1) Social Media Content Planning & Creation

  • Create and manage daily content across core social platforms, establishing a consistent tone of voice and visual direction
  • Plan content topics and translate them into executable publishing plans
  • Lead end-to-end shooting projects, including planning, briefs, art direction, on-set communication, and final content presentation

2) Narrative Creation for Hero Pieces

  • Develop in-depth narratives around hero pieces, covering materials, construction, craftsmanship, styling scenarios, and cultural context
  • Distill reusable key messaging to support consistent communication across different channels and touchpoints

3) KOC Content Collaboration & Community Outreach

  • Define the direction and selection criteria for content collaborations, driving more natural and long-term content partnership output
  • Communicate and coordinate with KOCs, clarifying brand boundaries and presentation standards to ensure content quality and long-term value

4) Media Relations & Collaborations

  • Maintain day-to-day communication with culture/art/design and fashion media, continuously building and maintaining media relationships
  • Proactively develop and pitch brand features and collaboration projects; coordinate communication and drive execution to ensure quality output aligned with brand positioning

5) Brand Activities

  • Plan and create content materials, including but not limited to brand decks, product information, event invitations, and client-service materials
  • Plan and present offline cultural/art projects, including art exhibitions, cross-disciplinary collaborations, and VIC salons

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in luxury brands, or editorial experience in architecture/design/art publications
  • Strong visual and aesthetic sensibility; understands visual language, pacing, negative space, and layout; able to collaborate with photographers/stylists/editors to produce content that feels “quiet yet not rigid”
  • Excellent writing skills, able to express the brand’s unique value accurately, with restraint, and in an accessible way
  • Strong project management and cross-functional collaboration skills; able to drive content end-to-end from planning to execution
  • Familiar with the content ecosystems and distribution logic of WeChat, Xiaohongshu (RED), Instagram, etc.
  • Candidates with long-term passion for design, architecture, art, and craftsmanship culture are preferred
  • Excellent bilingual writing skills in Chinese and English
