About the Role

As Specialist, Vendor Compliance, you support vendor onboarding, assessments, and data management activities within a defined region or functional area. You help ensure vendors meet Gap Inc.'s compliance and sustainability standards, provide customer service to internal and external partners, and contribute to reporting and process improvements. Your work supports ethical sourcing and helps maintain data integrity across systems. This role may be focused on field assessments, operational systems, environmental capability building, or fire/building safety.

What You'll Do

  • Support vendor onboarding and approval processes, ensuring timely and accurate documentation.
  • Maintain compliance databases and ensure data accuracy and consistency.
  • Provide customer service to internal and external stakeholders on compliance-related matters.
  • Assist in delivering training and onboarding sessions for vendors and internal teams.
  • Prepare reports and support analysis for leadership and program evaluation.
  • Identify and escalate risks or issues as appropriate.
  • Contribute to process documentation, system improvements, and team collaboration.


Who You Are

  • In-depth knowledge of labor, environmental, and safety standards of the country.
  • Experience with data management and reporting tools.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams and functions.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to provide capacity building/ trainings to train vendor/factory trainers.
